LADMS Services

Services We Provide

A comprehensive look at the services LADMS provideĀ

GP Extended Access Service

We provide GP Enhanced Access for the following PCNs: Meridian, First Coastal and First Coastal Coast. We deliver this service either by telephone consultations or by face to face at the following sites, Skegness Hospital, Beacon Medical Practice, Marisco Medical Practice, Alford War Memorial Hospital, Alford, and Louth Hospital.

This is an initiative aimed at improving access to general practice services by extending the hours during which patients can receive care. The goal is to make it easier for people to access medical services at times that are more convenient for them, particularly outside of the traditional 9 AM to 5 PM working hours. This can include early morning, evening, and weekend appointments.

Key Features:

1. Enhanced Hours: GP practices offer appointments beyond standard working hours, such as early mornings, evenings, and weekends, allowing more flexibility for patients.

2. Increased Availability: Patients have more opportunities to see a GP or other healthcare professionals, reducing the need to take time off work or other commitments.

3. Range of Services: Enhanced access often includes not just GP consultations but also appointments with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals for routine check-ups, chronic condition management, and other services.

4. Collaboration Between Practices: Due to this service being delivered on a PCN footprint it allows several GP practices to collaborate with LADMS to provide enhanced access, meaning patients might attend appointments at a different practice within their local area.

These appointments are only bookable via your own GP surgery.

LADMS Chambers C.I.C

Chambers is a professional agency and sister company to LADMS, offering services like those of locum agencies. We specialise in providing medical and administrative staff to local services, practices, and hospitals.

If you need qualified medical or administrative personnel for your practice, hospital, or service, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and we will support you to allocate shifts when and where you would prefer.

Additionally, if you are seeking new opportunities and desire the flexibility to choose your work schedule, self-employment might be the right path for you. We invite you to contact us through our website or by calling us directly to explore your options.

Anticoagulation Service

Anticoagulation is the use of anticoagulants, or blood thinners, to prevent or treat blood clots in the heart and blood vessels. Anticoagulants are commonly prescribed to people who are at high risk of developing blood clots, which can lead to serious conditions like strokes and heart attacks. Anticoagulants work by slowing down the body's process of forming clots, but they don't completely stop blood from clotting. This means that wounds take longer to stop bleeding, which is one of the main side effects of anticoagulants.

LADMS is proud to offer a specialised service for the regular monitoring of patients on Warfarin. This service is available to patients in Skegness and surrounding areas through our local clinic and our expert teams also complete home visits to those that are in need.

Please note that appointments are available by referral only from your registered GP.

Other Services

LADMS partners with local practices by implementing and managing frameworks and services on behalf of their Primary Care Networks (PCNs). LADMS is committed to supporting the NHS and is continually seeking opportunities to collaborate with PCNs, practices, and hospitals in the delivery of additional frameworks and services as needed.
