LADMS Case Studies
Covid Vaccination Programme
Our case studies are proof that through collaborative working we can achieve the best possible health outcomes for patients.
Covid Vaccination Programme
LADMS was commissioned by the CCG to deliver the Covid-19 Vaccinator program in Skegness and Mablethorpe, on behalf of the Skegness and Coast PCN, as well as, assisting the former East Lindsey PCN (which has now split into two PCNs, Meridian PCN and East Lindsey PCN).
LADMS delivered over 100,000 vaccinations across the East Lindsey District of Lincolnshire during this unprecedented era. The LADMS team stepped in with less than one week’s notice to help set up the Louth Vaccination programme in December 2020 and then mobilised the same in Skegness and Mablethorpe.
Within the first 2 weeks LADMS supported by vaccinating over 6,500 patients and on two occasions we were the leading group in the county on delivery. The next phase was focused on completing care home vaccinations, where again we were ahead of the county and one of the highest performers in the country.
This was achieved under the guidance of our fantastic senior leadership and operational management team and, of course, with the support of our NHS colleagues, who have been instrumental in leading the COVID-19 vaccination programme.
By working closely with our regulatory bodies, and close links to GPs, clinicians, and other stakeholders, when faced with this enormous challenge, we certainly demonstrated the power of collaboration. Working fiercely together in the shortest space of time to protect our patients, families, and friends.
